Therefore, it is important to use solutions in grain crushing devices so that the operating temperature is not high, which affects the stability of proteins in the feed, and the grain grinding is appropriate, achieved with the least amount of work and low energy consumption. These aspects undoubtedly distinguish grain crushers, especially those that, like corn crushers, have to overcome high material resistance related to the hardness of the grain, from energy-consuming traditional or hammer mills. That is why it is so important that crushers for corn or other hard grains are made solidly, from durable materials that do not undergo abrasion.

This is due to the variety of shredding devices on the market, either from domestic production or imported from the West. Similarly to the case of crushers for forage harvesters, after placing an order, I use high-quality materials and subject them to appropriate thermal processes, which translates into a higher price for the product.

This is another reason why SKRAWIT does not mass produce this type of roller because the customer must be aware that quality comes with a correspondingly higher price. Moreover, after consultation with the client, I use other solutions for the crushing surface, apart from the grooved/knurled one, teeth of appropriate depth can be used. Therefore, practically every order requires me to establish an individual production technology. In return, the customer receives durable grain rollers or corn crushers.
